Martin Luther King Jr. Writing!
My firsties worked really hard on their "I Have a Dream" writing yesterday. To finish their project they got to make adorable Martin Lither King Jr. portraits. They turned out so cute. I love how each one is so unique! Take a look!

Learning 2 Vowels Together!
Today we started learning about two vowels together! We learned a little chant with hand motions to help us remember the rule. The chant goes, "When two vowels go walking, the first does the talking, and all it likes to say is it's name." Then we made vowel people to help us remember this new rule. It was a big hit, and great visual for my firsties!
